To be fair all of my inside Dinning experiences at this Citrus Heights location have been consistently good to wonderful. Excellent food. Excellent service, and I’m a card carrying Panera participant, and the Coffee/Charger drink club. Today, I went through the Drive -thru in Citrus Heights. The lady on the speaker taking my order seemed annoyed, bothered , and irritated from the time she started my order. (Almost as if she was called in to cover a shift and work, she didn’t want to work. I want to be clear, she did not say anything point blank “Rude” whatsoever. It was all in her manner, and TONE. I ordered a half sandwich and a bowl of soup, while my child had a grilled cheese, and we both got drinks, totaling $30. The food was good, but not worth that price. The most disappointing part was stepping away for less than five minutes for my child to use the restroom, and when we returned, our food had been cleared away. I definitely won’t be coming back; it’s just too expensive, especially since we didn’t even get to finish our meals.
This place is an absolute scam. I paid $20 for a "soup for a crowd" and received just two small cups filled with mostly broth—barely enough for a single person, let alone a crowd! If I hadn’t sent my daughter to pick it up because I’m feeling unwell, I would have asked for a refund right on the spot. To add insult to injury, instead of bread, they gave me four apples. It's absurd. I will never return to this restaurant again.
Of course, you do have to make your own coffee, which isn't quite as delicious as a paid version. However, other drinks are ready to go without any preparation. As you drive around the city, you can stop by every two hours to enjoy a delightful beverage—all for just $12 a month. We are absolutely thrilled with this option and can't wait to visit more often to try their tasty menu items. We definitely recommend it!

I ordered the whole tuna sandwich, and it was quite large and fresh. It comes with a small bag of kettle chips and a pickle spear. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, the quality of the food is excellent. I also tried their orange cranberry muffin, but I found it to be too tart and somewhat dry for my liking.
I was pleasantly surprised! They didn't miss a single item from my order, and everything arrived hot and fresh. Plus, it didn't take long for the food to get to me. The flavors were quite good, even though I never really intended to eat here in the first place, lol.
Cool establishment! I drink coffee every day! I really like it, when I come to this country and every day I really feel spending on coffee, but here for a subscription of 11 I can drink coffee for a whole month! I recommend and the buns are delicious!
The whole order was flawless and delicious! The family-sized soup was just right, and the portion definitely justified the price. Everything was exceptional, and I will definitely be returning!

A couple of days ago we learned about the Panera cafe chain. We really liked it here. Lots of places to sit down to talk, work on the computer, just drink coffee.
I really enjoy their unsweetened iced teas. My wife loves their baguettes and breakfast wraps.
