Whenever we're in town, we make sure to visit the Port Orange location. Their crust is simply the best—it's almost pastry-like, delicate and buttery, with a subtle hint of beer or yeast that perfectly complements the sauce and toppings. I worked the airshow this weekend and pan heads did the catering. OMG, the food was out of this world. They did breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For being out in the middle of an airfield they still cooked everything on site. I was right next to the grill and watching them cook all those fresh vegetables made my mouth water. The variety of food offered was awesome. There was prime rib, smoked turkey, many different salads, including crab salad, red potatoes cooked on the grill, tons of veggies and fruit. Today, we left Fort Lauderdale on our way back home to Québec and decided to find the nearest pizzeria off I95. To our delight, we stumbled upon a little slice of heaven! In this charming town, we discovered an adorable restaurant called Panheads. It has an impressive record, having won the Tripadvisor certificate of excellence four times, and it truly deserves every accolade. As we were leaving, the chef was outside tending to some smoking brisket.
