The Papa Murphy's in Mount Dora used to be a well-run family business, but since corporate took over, the experience has declined significantly. When I visited, there were six employees who didn’t seem very professional, and the place was chaotic with a line of customers waiting. I noticed one woman who ordered three pizzas, and two of them were incorrect. The counter was dirty, staff seemed confused, and overall it felt disorganized. Watching them make my pizza was disappointing—it was poorly assembled with noticeably fewer toppings. If things don’t improve, corporate will face serious criticism. I’m not sure I’ll be returning.
The food quality was outstanding, and the staff were extremely welcoming. It was my first visit, and I really enjoyed the unique concept. They prepare your pizza fresh in front of you with quality ingredients, and you take it home to bake yourself. They have three crust choices: thin, original, and deep dish. I chose the original cowboy pizza, which was delicious and loaded with toppings. I’m definitely looking forward to trying the deep dish next time.
I’m really disappointed with Papa Murphy's Take 'n' Bake Pizza today, which is unexpected given my three years of ordering from their menu without issue. This time, my order was incorrect, missing key ingredients. On top of that, the new younger staff were rude and unprofessional. Unfortunately, you’ve lost a customer—I won’t be returning. From now on, I’ll be making my own pizza at home with fresh ingredients, which I’m sure will be much better.

I was also taken aback by the unusual approach of receiving a cold, uncooked item to bake at home. Overall, the entire experience left me feeling quite let down.

This is the best gluten-free pizza I’ve ever had. You have to try their pizzas—they’re handmade to take home and bake yourself. I absolutely love their pizza, and even those who don’t need gluten-free options enjoy their regular pizza. It’s so fresh and delicious. Fantastic service and amazing pizza!
This is my favorite spot for pizza. Their online ordering system is incredibly easy to use, and the staff is friendly and supportive. I especially love the cowboy pizza, and I appreciate that you can choose how well you want it baked. Plus, they offer discounts on Tuesdays.
I really enjoyed this place. Such a smart concept. It’s perfect for kids. I had a great time making pizza with my nephew. The pizza was tasty and not greasy. Cleanup was minimal, and the preparation instructions were simple enough for kids to follow.
I visited this restaurant for the first time and had a wonderful experience. They make the pizza right in front of you, then wrap it up for you to take home and bake. They offer various types of crust, and the pizza was delicious!

I truly love this place. I’m always satisfied after getting a pepperoni sausage pizza from here. Yes, you have to bake it at home, but the upside is that it’s always fresh when you’re ready to eat. It’s absolutely delicious!
The pizza was very good. We live so far from a good pizza place, that it's always cold by the time we get home. You can't beat the price $8.00 for what we got.
