A very nostalgic restaurant since it opened when I was in middle school! Mom had surgery and wanted a Philly cheese steak. This is the only place we get them. Their menu is huge now! They do have all of the things that make a Chicago style eatery successful. Everything was fresh and hot when it got to me and it fogged up my cat windows on such a chilly day. Very good deal and very fast service.
Office Manager. I go to the midway location all of the time. Love the gyros and chicken wings, and okra. that location doesn't have any more Club cards. I need a card with 2 punches gone off it. Can you send me one. And as a return customer I should not have to pay for hot sause for wings. When I come in there I always drop 20-25.00 every time.

Updated 2022 review: Still a go-to for Philly cheesesteak! The soda machine has syrup flavors, and that's pretty neat. Staff was super nice! Original review: The philly cheesesteak is always on point. Catfish and fries pretty good too. I'm glad this spotexists when I'm looking for deep fried goodness!
I’m really sad that places are increasing prices and smaller portions. Do one or the other. 4 wing is 10.00 but the wings are the smallest I’ve ever seenI’ve also had an Italian beef before and loved it, this time was the opposite. Since the pandemic the food has lost its quality
Took my nephew here to get a hotdog and the staff was really nice and helpful. The food was really good and freshly made. I've always enjoyed going to Pappy's, it's one of my favorite places to get a Chicago dog or a gyro I'll have to try some of their other items next time ?
Amazing food. You would not believe how good their food is. Overpriced but probably what they need to charge nowadays. A lot of quantity for your money. Nice service staff

Food for sharing. We love the Gyros! Get a platter to share among 3 or 4 people. The desserts are fun, the prices are good and the staff is friendly.
