We held a rehearsal dinner there. I viewed the place and asked for us to be seated in the back room on the LEFT side as the tables were nicely separated and the ppl at the gathering would be able to FREELY move about and mingle. I couldn't connect with a banquet manager as I was told she was out with a urinary tract infection I did tell the gentleman he should avoid telling people that I was sent text messages from an app and told that the right side of the room was bigger. I didn't agree but was assured it was. Oh, I also told them at booking I loved the way the tables were set up and did not want them to be re-arranged for one long table. There were four of us and we could not hear each other because the restaurant has no tablecloths curtains or anyting that would absorb the sound confirmation, we could not hear due to the wooden floor people walking on it and it was very crowded our waitress was Mary-Kate she was friendly professional and so helpful! At the very end we didn't have any silverware flatware anything to eat our dessert! But I think that was more the busboys then the waitress! No matter what the wait staff was very friendly but the atmosphere was not conducive for a conversation!
I recently celebrated my 42nd birthday at Park Place in New Hyde Park, and it was truly the best place to have a memorable celebration with my loved ones. The ambiance was delightful, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction, providing excellent service throughout the evening. The food was outstanding, with a diverse menu that catered to everyone's tastes. Park Place made my birthday truly unforgettable, and I highly recommend it for any special occasion.
I had my baby shower here and couldn't recommend this place more. From the professionalism, on top of everything staff, the phenomenal food (we went with the brunch buffet option), even the simple things like muffins, bagels and fruit platter were elevated with the pineapples being the sweetest I've had. The cocktails were great and our guests raved about the food and ambiance. Gina was fantastic to work with and I highly recommend Park Place to have all of your hosting needs.
One server for the entire place. We met her once to place an order and then it was up to us to go to the hostess station to get service. The food was subpar. We should have started with this is our go to place when we visit and we love their food and service. But this visit was not their normal service or standard of food. We will try again in three months to celebrate birthdays. We hope they don’t disappoint.
Tried the 2 for $22 lunch specials. I was impressed with the amount of food given. The taste was especially scrumptious too!! I had the Drunken chicken parm sandwich. Fabulous taste. Definitely clear that staff works as a team. You can feel the good vibes and happy moral when you enter the restaurant. It has a pub/ New England feel to it. All positives from this critic!
