big burger connection with lobster options! I've been here before. always good food and good atmosphere. the personal is always friendly and the place is always clean. they serve to eat in environmentally friendly packaging. eating is always great. this trip I have the burger with pommes. foliage, fresh rolls, melted cheese, salad and tomato, and above all caramelized wobble. the fries are thin and exactly the correct amount crispy. if this will be your first time, try every dipping sauce. I also had the crown jewel here, the rex steak and lobster. it is mignon, lobster, melted cheese and caramelized tweepers. one of the best I've ever got and worth every penny.
318/18 See You did this place on the FB today, we beat them. You can order at the counter, find a seat and your food/drinks will be brought to you. We were not disappointed with our decisions. I had the "Filet Mignon" that just melted in my mouth... I mean wow. William loved his “The Rex” signature Angus Burger. Fries... delicious with the black truffle sauce. Then we talked to the owner and he gave a crab sandwich that was excellent, thank you! We're back... so if you're at Mineola Station from The Rex. Brenda Bill. I went to The Rex on a Saturday afternoon. The staff was very friendly and recommended menu items to try. I ordered The Rex Burger with bacon, fries, and a soda, which cost about $25. The food was served promptly and was fresh and tasty. The fries were a generous portion that could easily be shared between two people. The burger came with two patties and was well-seasoned. However, considering the price, you could find a burger of equal quality at a diner for a lower cost. Nevertheless, it is worth a visit if you are in the area.
I ordered take out from The Rex last night. Two Burgers, two lobster rolls with butter, fries with the sauce sampler, one chocolate shake and a dulce de Leche shake. OMG! Everything was unbelievably delicious. Burgers were in the top 3 I've ever had. Lobster roll will compete with the best New England can offer. The fries were thin crispy and delicious. I never got my sauce sampler but, the fries did not need anything so, I let it slide. One of the best Saturday night dinners I've had in a long time.
I wanted to taste this restaurant and tonight. I love it! Great service, all very friendly. I liked the self-seat option. I had the classic lobster roll and my hubby the chicken sandwich. We loved them both. You have the best pommes! I liked the truffle sauce, went great with the fries! My husband preferred the cheese sauce. You have a bigger size lobster roll, but I found the classic with the frits to be perfect. I didn't have room for her brownies that looked amazing. Can try Brownies next time.
I must say the place was great. The food, the drinks the staff was great. I had the surf and turf burgers who had a nice thick piece of fillet mignon and stool some sauteed onions and cheese Mmmm it wss sooo delicious... But the frits could have been a little better, a lot of him was broken small pieces had only a few long pieces, but if someone asks for cheese on them or other stuff on them, you should put it on a plate and make like cheese fries when someone wants to say cheese fries just ..
I absolutely adore this restaurant! The lobster roll is both generous and delectable. My husband ordered the burger with lobster and was very impressed. I am looking forward to trying their filet mignon sandwich next time. I also ordered "The Rex" shake and it was absolutely delicious. I had it during our last visit and had to get it again, even though I don't usually drink shakes. The interior was clean and the food was served quickly.
This restaurant offers classic American burgers and milkshakes. For those looking for a true American experience, they also offer lobster as an option. The fries are perfect, and the burgers are delicious and juicy, reminiscent of McDonald's. I appreciate the classic American burger setup, but if I had one small suggestion, I think potato buns are superior for a perfect burger.
classic all American burgers and shakes. they can add hlobstah for those who want to be extra American. first the pommes perfect. second burger, delicious and juicy. reminds me of mcdonalds. I love the classic American burger set up, but if I had only a small small suggestion, I always think that kartoffel beans are king when it comes to a perfect burger.
