Parkdale Beach Cafe and Kiosk

We went here today for lunch on such a cold windy. day. The greeting was very warm and helpful, they were very busy and we were seated at the bench for a glass of wine while we waited for our table. Staff kept us up to date on our wait time. We had a table at the window with a lovely view of the ocean. I ordered the corn fritters and my other half ordered the lamb vegetable soup. The best, most memorable corn fritters I have eaten and the soup was tops too. A very rewarding visit.

Love locally and tried many many times to enjoy it here. Coffee and food is okay but the service is hit and miss. It's not too bad if you sit inside and order a meal but if you want a coffee to go and/or sit outside you sort of feel like a second class citizen. Tried for two years but in the end we head up to the Parkdale strip after our daily walk.

The setting is right above the Parkdale beach in the Melbourne bay. The service is okay although the waiter was having difficulty taking the request maybe because it's a noisy environment. Coffee is good and the breakfast although not being super innovative is well prepared with an average price.

Great choice amazing service, attentive and friendly. Great coffee, the mushrooms on toast simply delish, extra egg option that had yolk oozing out oh yummo. Great view and indoor bathroom no need to use run down adjoining loos. A must see, watch men in Lycra as you park.
