Penn Station East Coast Subs

Food is great, but operating hours are very confusing. Arrived at Dorsett 270 store on Feb 10, 2022 8:49pm. OPEN sign in window. Went inside. Girl cleaning grill said they were closed. I asked what time they close. She said they close at 9pm, but the register shuts down at 8:45pm. Got home and checked the website, it says they close at 10pm. I have never heard of a place that closes at say, 9pm, but they can 't sell you anything because the register closes 15 minutes earlier. Maybe she just didn 't want to cook anything because they were cleaning the grill? Hopefully the owner will see this and straighten it out. When you think of an amazing sandwich shop full of flavor, fresh cut meat and plenty of options to pick from look no further. The minute you walk through the door you are greeted by staff that are willing to answer any questions you may have about the menu. Whether you prefer a hot or cold sub they will have something to fit your appetite. You can choose between chips or fresh cut fries for a side (but you?d be crazy to pick chips). Better than the other Penn Stations that's for sure. There were no attitudes, the service was quick and friendly enough. And the food was made exactly how I ordered it. The store was also extremely clean as well. Damn near looked like you could've sat on the floor and ate for real. The employees also seemed like they enjoyed their working environment, so definitely sure if that was the case then that positivity permeated thru to their service as well. Which is something I most definitely appreciate.

I took a sandwich for my flight on my way to the airport. The sub-sandwich selection was limited, but sufficient. There was a better choice of hot sandwiches (e.g. cheese steaks), but I wanted to eat later and did not consider them. When I came around to eat my sub, I was surprised how much meat was packed in it. I could have come with a smaller sandwich (but I still ate all the sub). First time here, just passing through the area. Good location, crazy traffic (accident happened in the intersection). Very friendly staff. Ordered my food instore, fast service! Ordered the Cheesesteak and medium fry, priced a little more than I would normally pay($14). Overall good sandwich and fries!

The chef directed me to the next register and refused to take my order. Then, he proceeded to assist three women right in a row, but when the next man in line approached, he ignored him. Quite puzzling, isn't it?

I am always greeted warmly at the door, and the staff pays close attention to customer orders, ensuring they are delivered accurately. The atmosphere is very pleasant every time I visit.
