We got there and was escorted to a table in the middle of the rest, we asked for a window seat and would told they were all booked and that we should have requested a window seat. They then asked how I made my reservation and stated that thru open table it would have shown to ask for a window seat (Which it doesn't!! there is a section for special request) however if you have never been there before you wouldn't know to ask. this is a hidden restaurant that you would never find out, just drive around. very old school vibe with waiter, cook the table side. the food was delicious, we had pfefferminz steak and halibut french wobele and table side cesar salat. the food was delicious and at the point. my only concern is that at all the table side cooking there is a nebula smoke from the kitchen, it did not ruin the meal, but our driver who took us up said you smell like steak. we are coming back next time in the city
We have been coming here for at least 15 years and we always leave completely satisfied. Last night was no different, we were greeted very cordially, led to a table near a window and seated like we were family. The Peppersteak was prepped perfectly and the chef was fun to talk with. The cherries jubilee was excellent. The night was perfect for our 58th celebration!
