Cheap decor, over-priced items, and very rude service people. When it came to Malaysian Street food, it was more street than food. The vegetable stir fry tasted like the chief poured the entire ocean of salt into it (p.s. I have a relatively higher tolerance for saltiness). My partner did not want to make extra trouble, so I asked for a bowl of hot water, and explained to the waitress that I had to rinse the salt off the vegetables, the waitress was dismissive, and got me a bottle of cold water. So I asked again, she got me a mug of hot water. Apparently, she did not understand the meaning of the hot nor bowl . I cannot complain about the customer service as there was none. Been a local for thirty years. There has been an influx of cheap Asian eats in the street over the past 10 years, they are all rubbish. You get what you pay for. Petaling Street Restaraunt. Five years ago I used to love their Roti Canal, bread and curry. Regular buyer until one serve was sold undercooked and revolting. Five years later give it another go. Roti Canai curry dip had separated into oil and curry. No matter how we tried to re mix it remained separated. Used to be served with at least one piece of meat. Now curry sauce only no meat. The fish appear to be imported species swimming in water and soy? sauce. Unpleasant. Did not eat. Stir fry beef. The beef was ok. Stir fry separated t...

It’s my guess this place has recently changed hands because earlier reports show different furnishings. Staff dressed in ninja style black ruffled tshirts and trakky dax complete with fook-hai happy shoes grunt in acknowledgement of your requests. There’s an atmosphere of disorder and peeling paint as the current owners seem not to understand the words maintenance or capital expenditure....I doubt they understand award wages or superannuation too.....

Being very recent home owners in Carnegie we decided to try some Malaysian....! We ordered Nasi Goreng from this Restaurant. Very busy place giving the impression that there is a fast turnover of clients. Outside appearance gives you a false reading. ..! The food was really yummm...! This place will definitely be “ earmarked” for future “ take out”..! Well done chef...! Larry
