We visited this restaurant for the first time in two years, and while the food and service were excellent back then, this visit was a bit mixed. Our server was friendly, but we encountered some issues: first, they brought the wrong appetizer and then never replaced it. After our entrees arrived, the server checked on us and placed another order for the appetizers. Unfortunately, two of the three entrees were only lukewarm, while the third one was hot. They had to set up a table for the party of five to fit and it was on an angle and we wanted to have it move in a little more so people going through the walk away would have room and we wouldn't get hit. However, we asked the staff to adjust the seating a little, it seemed it was troublesome for them as per the expression on their face. It also took awhile for food to be served, and even asking for some more water took a lot of time. We understand there may not be enough staff, but we didn't get a refill until AFTER we got a check which seemed like a waste of time.
I sat down at a table that was wet, with no cutlery in sight. There were only two other tables with diners, and no wait for a table. However, I waited 20 minutes for someone to take our order. The drinks arrived in a reasonable time, but unfortunately, the food was cold and overcooked. We had to get up and grab cutlery from another table just to eat the unpleasant food. We sent back the Kung Pao Chicken because it was ice cold, and the Chicken Lo Mein was missing recognizable pieces and was also cold. I couldn't wait to leave this place.
I had a reservation for 5:30 and arrived at 5:25, only to be told there would be a 15 to 20-minute wait. When I asked why there was a wait, I was informed that there were many reservations. However, the restaurant was three-quarters empty and there was no one else waiting. It really seemed like they didn’t know what they were doing. It was frustrating to wait when the place was so nearly empty. I won’t be returning.

I had a pleasant experience at the restaurant. The food and drinks were both enjoyable. I did wish the ambiance didn't remind me too much of a Chinese restaurant, but overall, I really liked my visit. The waiter was exceptionally friendly, though I regret not catching his name. I went on Tuesday, January 26th, with a reservation for 5:00 PM, and I was seated right away, which was fantastic.
it seemed to have some problems in the kitchen. our appetizer was excellent, but when our main course arrived, the rice was not. when the server recognized the problem, my meal was cold, so I asked to reheat it. the manager made me a whole new court and tear. now the meal was as it should be.
My mother and I had a nice experience at PF Chang’s at the Smithhaven Mall. The server was helpful and efficient. Our entree was delicious. Can’t go wrong with the lo mein. The only small negative was the edamame appetizer was over cooked which made the pods stringy. They were not crisp.
Short ribs were Ehhh… over priced, short staffed. Place was empty. Waited to sit with a reservation. Waited for service. Food was good. Not great. For those prices I could eat next door at Ruth Chris.

Sat on time friendly staff dinner took about 1 hr to be served. Told the kitchen was busy but the restaurant was not even half full.
