We use to frequent this restaurant when it was situated at the corner .now 2 doors down the place is very unwelcoming very untidy and the service is appalling !!! My partner and I had dinner after a movie round about 8.30pm .No one acknowledged us when we walked in even though there were several staff most of them on the phone SMSing .the staff use to be in uniforms but they looked like part time uni students dressed very very casual . We had to get their attention several times even though we were the only customers .they did not even say good bye when we paid the bill .no never again (did go there before Christmas same scenario) too casual for my liking .the food was ok but ambience terrib...
We went here the other night for a quick meal before a movie, it's a great cosy warm restaurant doing fairly authentic Thai food. We had the curry puffs to start which whilst very tasty we're also very small, then I had the Chang mai noodles which was very nice and tasty, my friend had the holy basil chicken stir fry which was very authentic and yum, and a very good size. We did have to chase our rice to come out, but that's a minor detail. Staff were friendly and attentive.Great spot for quick tasty meal before heading to the classic for a movie.
I should have listened to the other reviewers but was really hungry. This is simply a fast food shop I wouldn't recommend this place for any food of quality or taste, if you used to fast food like KFC then maybe you'll be okay, but if you have a palate for good food then you will be best to stay away, I couldn't eat it my dish, plus the tables were sticky, as soon as I sat down I should have trusted my get feeling and got back up and walked out.
the place was pleasant enough was looking at a simple red curry vegetarian , i try keep away from seafood if i havn t been before... the service was pleasant enough but the kitchen staff look bored and it reflected on the food... my dish was mediocre , the vegetables were hardly cooked in fact raw is a better term.. in whole it was a lazy meal that a student would make if they were hungry , in fact i am being unkind to students im sorry,;

I have not eaten in for a while, normally get it delivered......but went there recently to the new location & its very, very good. Just love the beef Masaman curry, also the red duck curry is super. Try there desserts if you have room :))
Every time we are in Melbourne we have a least 1 dinner @ Phad Thai , as our daughter lives down the road, the food is fresh- tasty and service always very good, better still they make the best black sticky rice , try it .
We're split on the one. Food was tasty, good portion size although was only warm in temperature. Often a sign of reheating. For me was ok...girlfriend wasn't so keen, so will try somewhere else next time we fancy Thai...
Waited nearly 10 minutes at my table just for a menu and had to walk up and get it myself while the staff ate their dinner at the cash register.

Food was nice but service was shocking, the staff seemed more interested in socialising then actually caring about our table.
I went here with my partner last week and have never had an experience quite like it.
