I would have given them a 0 out of 5 if that option was available. After having lunch at Taipei Bistro, I decided to purchase dessert. Originally, I had planned to eat it at home but then I thought, why not try it at the restaurant? I even offered to clean the table myself. However, when I politely asked if I could eat the dessert there, a younger woman gave me a bitter smile and remained silent. The older woman then angrily said, "Just let me know if you want to eat here next time!!!! I can bring the dessert over to your table!!" I was taken aback. It was disappointing that they didn't just ask for tips instead of rudely responding. I will not be returning to this place and do not recommend...

Quite busy for quite a small place....although it was a Saturday, but it was 10 PM at night anyways. Good place to meet up and hang out with friends, just like other Chinese boba places. Order the mango tapioca drink which comes with little bits of fresh mango; it's like dessert, but you drink it instead...not bad for $3.50. Also, thumbs up for mango grapefruit pudding with real chunks of fruits...also $3.50!! Expect to pay around $3.50!! Also, I was disappointed that they ran out of the black sesame desert at that time..so come earlier if you want that!!
Parking can be somewhat tricky, but we were able to find a spot! The service was excellent, and the staff were very attentive—perhaps my friend's Cantonese made a difference. I usually visit for the desserts and hadn’t tried the main dishes in a while, but this time I was pleasantly surprised! Everything was delicious. We had the seaweed ground pork with egg rice, lettuce wraps (which were tasty though a bit messy), and garlic fried chicken wings. To finish, I enjoyed my favorite mango tapioca drink. :)

The Mandarin lady was very nice. Black sesame dessert tasted as if burnt. We requested for refund, but the Mandarin lady says she can only exchange. Although that sound a bit ridiculous, but I accept her kind apology and did an exchange instead.
I visited Phoenix Food Boutique to claim a complimentary birthday drink. The process was straightforward, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The restaurant also provides free parking, clean restrooms, and ample indoor seating.
