Piñons Pizza Company

A few friends and I visited this fantastic pizza restaurant, and I was really impressed by their extensive wine and beer selection! The pizzas were incredible, and I honestly wanted to try everything—thankfully, I could share with my friends! I absolutely loved the kale salad, the mushroom pizza, and the maple bacon pizza. The special meat pizza was outstanding; I hope it becomes a regular menu item (the pepperoni cups and pesto were to die for). Elaina suggested we order half and half pizzas with the large pies, which was a great idea! I believe the owner came over to check on us, which was a nice touch. I just moved to Locust Valley 2 years ago and Piñons always has been my go-to spot. I really love their simple menu, cozy atmosphere and especially the owners music taste. Not only is the pizza incredible, but they have weekly specials every week that keep the menu exciting. My friends and I always look forward to seeing what they will come up with next. Their bottles of wine are carefully selected and reasonably priced and their cocktails are amazing- love their spicy margarita or a Heady Topper when I?m in the mood for a beer. GO! Get a their mushroom pizza, fava bean dip and the Youngs Farm cherry pie- you wont regret it.

So much to say about Piñons. The area of Locust Valley is so cute and underated to begin with. But this cute restaurant is such a great touch that it's worth traveling to even if you're coming from out of town! The food and the ambience makes for such a great casual date night that when you're done I suggest you walk around town to stretch your legs and get a good breathe of fresh air because you've just finished a larger than expected meal. This place is an absolute must if you're looking for the entire package of different, romantic, and of course delicious!

Thanks Andy! We will miss Pinons. We are moving out of the area and one of the best things about the area is Pinons. Great selection of liquor and beer coupled with great pizza. Best restaurant pizza you can get on LI. Organic ingredients and interesting toppings make for an eventful night. Awesome beer, wine, and liquor selection. Ask for the waiter who looks like Dolph Lundgren. You do not want to miss Piñons one of the best spots to hangout, drink, enjoy some great company.

Wonderful place great vibe fantastic service both at bar and table Try the warm olives and almonds and pork meatballs appetizers Pizza is cooked perfectly Sausage and garlic and wild mushrooms unreal! Save room for the warm cherry pie dessert, too. A great night!

I don't leave reviews often, but this place is worth a great review! I couldn't wait to try the maple bacon pizza and it was the best thing I've eaten in awhile. Bartender made unbelievable drinks too, Can't wait to come back!

The pizza here is fantastic, and for dessert, their chocolate chip cookie skillet is simply the best! I highly recommend making a reservation.
