I had a fantastic experience at an excellent local Middle Eastern restaurant in Streamwood! I ordered the Combination Feast, which came with rice (under the meats) and some vegetables. I also tried the falafel appetizer (four pieces) and finished my meal with baklava for dessert. Their hot (red) sauce is incredibly spicy—much spicier than at other nearby pita shops. I really enjoyed it, but it's not for everyone. If you're in the mood for tasty Middle Eastern cuisine, I highly recommend heading over to Pita BBQ! They serve Zabiha Halal food, which is similar to kosher for Muslims.
The hummus at this restaurant is the best I’ve ever tasted. I always have my boyfriend buy me four extra containers of it whenever we visit, so I can enjoy it throughout the week. I’m grateful we live half an hour away; otherwise, I would probably weigh 300 pounds from indulging in their amazing food. For vegetarians, there are great options like hummus with falafel or the veggie feast. Both are incredibly delicious and come with a side of pickled onions, pickles, tomatoes, and a pita.
Downgrading my earlier 5 stars review to 3 due to bad customer service. They don't answer their phones so you can't call ahead and order plus the red sauce that comes with the serving was ROTTEN!!!! Plus the serving size has been reduced. The food though is still good hence the 3 stars. The attached picture is from when I gave a 5 star review.
The place is nothing to brag about. I used to like this place but last two visits have been very disappointing. The chicken was dry and chewy. No utensils included on takeout and they charged 75 cents for a half way filled hot sauce in a small container. The place was empty on a Thursday at 12:30 lunch time when I went to pick up the food.

Food is good, but they are very stingy with the sauces. I buy takeout from them at least once a month and every time they say the sauce is in the bag when it isn’t. It’s happened too many times to be coincidence. So now I make sure to check the bag when I’m picking up even if they say it’s in there.

I used to enjoy this restaurant, but not anymore. During my last visit, I noticed that the chairs and tables had a greasy feel, and the food didn't smell quite right. I was really concerned about the hygiene. I might not return, as there are cleaner and better options nearby.
I don’t know what they did to my food but it literally gave me the worst stomach pain ever. I was legitimately fighting for my life after eating some falafels and fries, But overall it was very delicious!!

Not going to lie tonight we ordered the combination plate and the beef wasn’t the freshest. And only 1 falafel: Update and the combination wrap the beef was dry too. The rice and chicken were good.
