Play At The Broadmoor

The Broadmoor website states clearly that bowling reservations are to be made by phone. So I booked dinner for 4 for one night of our stay, and then called and reserved one lane for two evenings. A few days before our dinner reservation I noticed that I no longer had a reservation in open table for 4 at 6:30 but there as a reservation for 1 at 8:30 in my upcoming reservations. I quickly added a reservation for dinner for 4 luckily they had space) and thought nothing of it. The first night of bowling a Monday) we checked in, no problem, for bowling. This was our family's first time to Play at the Broadmoor and we were not disappointed in any way. It was AMAZING!!!! The food was 5 star incredible, especially the adult milkshakes and we loved the presentation of the fries in the little basket...very cute!!! We all had a blast playing shuffleboard and pool before heading to the little bowling alley. The service was outstanding and very personable!!! We'll definitely be back and plan to recommend it to all of our friends!!!

Our waitress was excellent snd the food was delicious. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant with games in every table. Our one complaint was the price of the drinks $20 each) and the fact that when we bowled, which cost $75 per hour, they added a 20% gratuity even though we did not order any food or drink while bowling so that actually cost over $90 after paying tip and tax. It was a very expensive evening!

This is an exceptionally cool bowling alley located within the Broadmoor Hotel. There are only 6 lanes, so it is somewhat difficult to get reservations during the prime time slots, but the experience is really nice once you are in. Also, keep in mind that if you want to bowl, you have to book directly with the establishment. Booking through OpenTable does not work.

We have been several times before to Play and this visit did not live up to the standard. The service was slow. The food was not good. We had a terrible time trying to bowl and eat and enjoy the night. It was frustrating. I don't know if there is a staffing shortage or not but it needs to be better.

The service was slow and horrible. We sat for over 25 minutes with no beverages, not even water, our empty plates had been picked up, waiting for our check. Finally we went to the front counter and asked to pay. They went and searched for our waiter as we stood there for another 10 minutes.

The shrimp scampi was terrible for the price. Bland undercooked pasta with 4 piece of shrimp. Service was very slow for not being busy. Hard to see the tv's so it was hard to watch the football game we came in to see. Kids enjoyed the games at the table and they enjoyed their burgers.

I love the resort. Beautiful. I am disappointed with the reservation to the bowling restaurant. I wish I was told ahead of time about the cost for bowling and that it was separate from food.

Wagyu burgers were dry, but tasty. Fries were perfect. Waitress was very professional and welcoming. The Broadmoor never disappoints.
