Playfair 's es un pequeño restaurante steakhouse, muy cerquita del famoso campo de golf, The Old Course . Está situado en una de las calles principales de la pequeña ciudad de St Andrews, en North Street. Tienen una pequeña terraza a la entrada, bajando unos escalones, lo que te consigue aislar del tráfico de la calle... El restaurante está decorado con el típico toque de pub británico, muy acogedor! Mi compi de viaje y yo nos fuimos por el mismo plato, y parece ser que mucha de la gente que había en el restaurante en ese momento, también, no me sorprende! Tienen una pequeña terraza en la entrada, a pocos pasos, lo que te hace aislar del tráfico callejero. El restaurante está decorado con el toque típico del pub británico, muy acogedor! mi compi de viaje y yo fui por el mismo plato, y parece que muchas de las personas que estaban en el restaurante en ese momento, también, no me sorprende! el filete de sándwich era el elegido, toma filete al plato, cebolla caramelizada y una mayonesa de deliciosa mostaza! todos acompañados por los chips de salch...

served during the open wing sat and baked squid and chips. it tasted as if it were a frozen pack from island! barely fish and a few chips underneath. tiny lemon wedges on every teller and the fish of my wife were burned. when we starve, we ate it, but the reflection should have sent back. I know they have a captive market during the golf, but we will not return.

this is my favorite place to eat the food is fantastic and the staff is always polite and very helpful. we were there on 29 november for my birthday meal and it was exceptional. prompt service. as one of the waiters learned or the other. he did a great job. steak was perfectly cooked. pfeffersoße could have been more pfeffersoße. the waiters went out of that to please the diners. they see gloomy pictures below. a good opportunity to finish a good meal.

especially loved my starter. “Chilli garlic linguine with pickled seaweed”. all-hearted it was amazing with a fantastic taste and a perfect hit by chili! loved the broken seaweed up! we would definitely recommend this restaurant if they enjoy Scottish food, seafood and steak!

excellent steakhouse within two blocks of the old course. two or three pairs of courses. we have decided for two courses: steak, chips, salat and dessert. we added oysters. with three rounds of drinks came the total to about £80 including the congratulate. excellent service.

When I went it had a rating of 4.2 it didn’t deserve such a low rating. The food was very tasty and well presented, great service and lovely people. Hidden gem!
