If you want to get that real Florida feeling while enjoying delicious food, then you have to go to Pop’s Sunset Grill. The place has a year-round cool and chill vibe and everything on the menu is top notch. There are two outdoor bars and one indoor one and both indoor and outdoor seating. The service is super friendly as well. Over the years we’ve tried almost everything on the menu, but one of our favorites is the catch of the day sandwich (market value). Pop's is authentically very, very well hidden away in an eclectic sprawling old maritime location with tables right on the water's edge. The drive by land to Pop's is a thrill in itself. And boaters can head to Marker 10 on the ICW and dock here. I’m reluctant to do this review because I don’t want to have to wait for a seat at the bar but, this place is great. Most places I go that are on the water have subpar food and service. This is not that. We had dinner and breakfast there back to back days. The food was excellent. The shrimp Rangoon was a highlight at dinner and the Mother and Child reunion breakfast sandwich was spot on the Bloody Marys made for a well balanced breakfast. The bar service was great and hey, it’s on the water with live music at the tiki bar during breakfast. Stay away so me and my wife can sit at the bar without waiting.

This is a popular spot along the Intercoastal Waterway. Drinks are served in plastic cups inside the restaurant. The protein dishes were overcooked, but the service was incredibly friendly and efficient. The half-shell oysters were a bit dry, likely because it's not the right season for local oysters. I had high hopes for this restaurant, especially after a 40-minute drive to get there. The view was absolutely stunning! Dining outdoors with live music playing created a wonderful atmosphere. However, I had some reservations about the overall experience.

Loved my lunch with a view! Loved the live music and the menu had good options. Not too Vegan friendly but you’ll find a meal.
