Our favourite Chinese restaurant ever.We frequented Portia's Place regularly over the years we lived in Canberra and again now, when we returned to visit.The delightful Portia welcomed us and remembered our favourite dishes drinks every time.Although Portia has now moved on, we still return to enjoy our favourites san choy bow, spicy mustard chicken, duck green beans, ooh la la shantung lamb!!
Spare of the minute decision to get takeaway from here and thankful we did. We expected stock standard Chinese takeaway when we ordered chicken chow mein with crispy noodles, fried rice and prawn toast. Everything was better than the standard Chinese takeaway and very prompt and polite service. The food was ready in ten minutes after ordering! Has made me want to go back and try other dishes!
I took my wife two little girls both under 4 I would have to say all the staff where great, A must try is the duck pancakes definitely the spicy chilli prawns, my mouth is watering writing this review . The price represents the food .Thank you we will be back
The staff were really nice. The food was good, best so far that we have had in canberra (and we have eaten a lot of places). The food was slightly greasy but the rice was perfect. Overall really good. We would eat here again Reserva una mesa ahora
Best food in Kingston the place is an institution. Good for everyone, kids too. The food is epic, the crispy chicken special will electrify your tastebuds. The best by far of all the Asian food in Kingston.
Always time for Portia's!. We love this place! Have been there five or six times in recent months and never disappointed. Most menu items are worth trying and the service is great. Will go back anytime.
The food the service is always amazing! I normally order mostly from the Favourites menu have not had any food that wasn't fantastic. Will miss Portia's when I move away!
