I used to work at a different Potbelly location, and my experience today was absolutely disappointing. The staff was quite dismissive and unhelpful. The person adding toppings to my sandwich had her mask pulled down around her chin, breathing directly over my food. When I asked the unfriendly cashier to adjust a charge for bacon to match what I actually received—salad bacon—she simply said, "It's fine." This was a dollar difference that I've unfairly encountered way too often at this location. It's incredibly frustrating.
I hadn't noticed this restaurant before, but since it was next to some shops we had visited, we decided to try it for lunch. The turkey avocado sandwich was simply amazing! It was toasted over a flame, which gave it a perfect crunch while still being wonderfully creamy. Every bite was a pleasure. My only complaint is that, unlike Subway, you can't watch your sandwich being made. The counters are too high for someone of average height to see all the toppings being added.
I'm puzzled as to why the mac and cheese consistently comes out brown and unappetizing. I voiced my concerns a few months back in hopes they would fix the issue, but nothing has changed. On my recent visit, they attempted to disguise the old mac and cheese by adding a portion of what they claimed was "fresh," but it was still unacceptable. They really need to address this problem.
I hadn’t been to a Potbelly in a long time. I used to really like their sandwiches, but this time I ordered the Italian. It was good, but it didn’t quite live up to my memories. I’m not sure why that is. On the bright side, the staff was friendly and the place was clean. I also enjoyed the Alien mural on the wall. I might return and give it another try.

I visited the restaurant today to grab a sandwich and was warmly greeted by Kero. Unsure of what to choose, I asked him to create a sandwich for me, and he made an incredible one! He was very friendly and made me feel right at home. I've been to this place many times, but this was the first time I encountered him. I'll definitely be back!
The chicken salad sub was just mediocre, lacking in flavor. The mini oatmeal chocolate chip cookies were underbaked and too salty. The last batch I had a couple of weeks ago was fantastic, but this time I’ll be throwing them away.
The staff seems more focused on chatting with their friends than on taking care of customers, even when there’s a long line. It feels pointless to order ahead since those standing in line often receive their orders much faster.
I absolutely love visiting this place for my sandwiches! Karen is fantastic and always brings a great deal of enthusiasm. I genuinely appreciate her energy and the attentive customer service she offers.

We got a bag of chips, two skinny combos, salad and soup. Paid $23 dollars. Wow you can't find value like that anymore!!!
This place couldn't get a sandwich order right if their life depended on it.
