Prairie Street Brewing Company

I had recently bought a “Ultimate Weekend Escapes” magazine and one of the places to visit was Rockford! The article mentioned many places to visit in the area and also mentioned Prairie Street Brewing as one of the best places to eat in Rockford. We decided to visit the site and it was not disappointed. The building was beautiful and integrated the history of the area. The view was also beautiful as the back terrace overlooked the Rock River and the city. The interior was well kept and ensured a unique old feeling of work. The service was fantastic and many employees enjoyed working there. The food was very good and included dishes for every taste. The brews are also a must and are very tasty. Prices are also fair. I would recommend this location to everyone in the area and even after visiting the Anderson Garden. You can say that this facility opens the way for more companies in downtown Rockford!

Hello Rockford I just had lunch with the family at Prairie Street Brewing Co. and wanted to share my experience with you all. They have done an excellent job to revive the interior of this building. We sat in the lower level of the restaurant so that for those who need wheelchair enable they have an elevator available for use. The menu has a nice selection of options to tantalize all taste buds. The food was fantastic and we left the feeling full. The atmosphere was great for a day meal and I feel it would be fantastic in summer with a view of the Rock River. Our waitress was very knowledgeable with her menu and the suggestions she made, where just as delicious as she made her sound. I will definitely be back and I recommend trying this facility for everyone. If you are looking for a great affordable place for date night, I would give them an attempt.

Had my dinner here a few months ago! Such a great experience. Service and attention have exceeded my expectations! I have so many compliments on the Taco bar and all my guests had an amazing time. Our bartender was super friendly and I also got many compliments on her! Definitely recommend this place for events!

Always a great choice. A lot of options for vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores alike. I have found a favorite in the Tofu Poke Bowl (see the photo). They have specials, also, that my husband has thoroughly enjoyed!

We drove from Woodstock just to enjoy thier fantastic food. Don't forget to try homemade root beer. Even the pretzel was happy to see us there again!
