We dine here pre Williamstown Little Theatre 5 times a year and have not been disappointed. Good solid pub grub. A $20 porterhouse steak was enjoyed by several of our group of 6 diners and none voiced any concerns, good potato mash but tge vegies were a bit light on, still for $20..... The burgers are large and flavoursome with obligatory chips $16/18 and the fairly standard pub menu often has little tweaks to add a little something to stand out from the many other pubs in the area. House wine was not too bad (comes free as part of a theatre ticket deal) but prices are not excessive anyway. They have the local Spotswood Two Birds Golden Ale on tap which scored brownie points with the beer drinkers in the group. Service is generally good but not exemplary, staff made some errors on the bill but fixed without too much fuss. The dining room was booked out on our sat night visit so recommend you book. Definitely worth a look.

My partner and I frequent this bistro for meals, simply because we can never fault the food or service.The same friendly staff faces are always around the place, there certainly isn't a shortage in staffing which I think is certainly key to the speed and quality of service received. (Thank you and please don't ever cut back).Most importantly, I have never had a bad steak here! Always perfectly cooked and the fat well rendered.An ideal restaurant for all occasions. Excellent menu, excellent hospitality. Price is a tad on the higher side, but worth every cent for the experience.I will continue to visit this restaurant for as long as this is the service I receive. Cheers!

Went there on a Tuesday. Enjoyed some jug morningtons on tap. Food needed some attention...the Scotch fillet was a little overdone though. Pretty sure I asked for Med rare, was more like med well. Bearnase sauce came in a very small cup (foul ball) Although it tasted good, I wish they followed out with my instructions. I will still rate them very good. Not it's a weak 4.

It been a pub for long long time and the front bar is pretty good and enhanced by several strategically placed big screen TVs so it a good spot to meet mates for a few beers and watch the footy. food is not bad pub grub and they must by rocket by the truck load. Carpet in the bar is very veryy worn and kind of detracts from the experience

The servers are friendly and chatty, the locals still sit in the bar and the food is good quality at pub prices. Really welcome feel to the place.
