I recently had what can only be described as the worst dining experience of my life at this restaurant. It really should be shut down. The food was terrible, the service was nonexistent, and using the Punjabi name here feels like a scam.
Today, my family and I visited with high hopes for a cultural experience filled with buttery parathas and flavorful chhole, topped off with masala chai to kick off our fantasy lunch. To our disappointment, they informed us they were "out of masala." No problem, we settled for regular chai, only to receive it (after an eternity of waiting) in a paper cup—cold and smelling of rancid cooking oil. We couldn't even drink it.

I had high hopes for this restaurant based on the buzz I’d heard, but my experience on November 11, 2021, was extremely disappointing. I ordered three dishes: the Paneer Kathi Roll, Chole Bhature, and Hakka Noodles.
First, the Chole Bhature was a big letdown. The chickpeas had a strong, unpleasant odor, and the bhature was greasy, leaving a taste of spoiled oil in my mouth. When I mentioned this to the owner, she simply replied, "That's how we make bhature." She seemed quite proud of serving this style for over 13 years, which was baffling.

Honestly, I don't know why this place has so many mediocre reviews on Google. Every time I've been to this place, the food has been outstanding! For authentic Punjabi food, this is the best place I've been to so far in the US. Especially recommend alltheir Chaat golgappe and aloo tikki chat are my favorites. The golgappe (pani puri shells) are semolina based I believe theonly place in the US where I've had these. Of course, you can't leave without having their special chole bhatoore. The food was authentically Punjabi and absolutely delicious. One thing to note, though, is that the restaurant is located inside a supermarket, so it can be easy to overlook. After some thoughtful searching, we finally found it. The seating area is spacious, and the food was outstanding. It’s a must-visit to enjoy the amazing flavors of Punjab while also stocking up on groceries! I highly recommend it!

Guys please save your time and money. Food is really not good. We ordered chole batura and chicken biryani. Cholesterol was black and its not at all tasty. Worst chicken biryani I ever tasted in USA. The mixed cooked baskets rise with some gravy andgave it as chicken biryani. Customer service is not good.. I won't suggest this place to anyone.
The food at Punjabi By Nature was extremely disappointing. I ordered the veg Manchurian, but what arrived was just some broken vegetable balls soaked in half-cooked tomato sauce. When I contacted the owner, they simply said, "This is our style of veg Manchurian." Definitely not what I expected from their menu.
Quality has come down to this.. Got stuffed Potato Onion parantha. Either they rain out of the mixture or something but that so called stuffed parantha was half empty.. Veg Manchurian tastes like meat balls.. Haaka Noodles have no flavor.. Not going backhere Pais $45 for this food that is just junk..
The food was terrible—overly oily and unnecessarily spicy. If you're looking to drown in oil, this is the place for you. I ordered the paneer special, and this is what I received. I attempted to drain some of the excess oil, as seen in the second photo, but it was just impossible.

It’s been 2 years in USA i have never had biryani like this too good must try and if you’re from Hyderabad you’re going to love it.
