Been eating here for some time, eat in and take away. The food is great quality. The yum cha dishes are terrific. We took the family for a treat for yum cha on a Sunday lunch. Placed the order on the sheets they provide, ticking the boxes for the dishes we wanted. We waited an eternity for any food to arrive. Then out it came and onto the table in drive and drabs. Ten minutes between dishes. The table beside us were getting a heap of dishes and they were laughing that they didn't think they actually ordered some of them. If you've had enough of the over salted, over sweetened battered and bicarbed offerings that often passes for Chinese food give this place a try. Sure you can get your sweet and sour pork, and they do it rather nicely, but if you would like seafood lightly kissed by the wok with a hint of ginger and shallots, the chefs will rise to the occasion. Delicious soups and hot pots are the sign of a kitchen that takes it stock pot seriously. There's plenty of real Asian food on the menu as evidenced by the numbers of real Asians who eat there. There are plenty of great restaurants to choose from in Canberra but this place never disappoints and we like to visit at least once a month.
I have walked past Quan's many times and thought that it was just another average Chinese restaurant. We decided to grab some takeaway from here and I was surprised at how nice it was inside. The food was delicious and we are so happy to find such a nice dining experience so close to home.
We went for yum Cha, slowest service I ever experienced. The lobster dumpling was not fresh ah all, 100% guaranteed that they didn't either use fresh ingredients or it has been siting there for a long time!!!! Would not go there ever again !!!

Very nice decor and setting. Quiet Thursday night. There was no background music which means the voices from the kitchen carries towards the waiting room. Food is quite average, cannot match the quality and flavour in Dickson.
Have eaten in and got takeaway several time. Always been good. Red beef curry is a favourite. Good prices and quality of food. Always seem to get extra spring rolls when getting takeaway too. Best Chinese in the area.
Good yum cha spot - feels cleaner and more inviting than some places I've been to. The dumplings were fairly well steamed and pretty consistent throughout the service. Portions were good, and food was nice and hot.
Great food and fast service. This is my go-to place for dinners when I feel like eating out. They also have yum cha every day, which also makes their food staying fresh all the time.

Have ordered few takeaway from here first few times it was good than the quality gone down. just need some improvement here, service was great, friendly staff.
