Went here with the family for dinner last Friday evening. Menu is not as good as other Raiders Clubs but still managed to find something we liked. Went to pay and swiped my card, machine said successful, the app on my phone indicated the payment...went through but the machine ran out of paper. As a result the club advised I had to swipe again and that in doing so it would cancel the other payment. I objected and called for the manager who told me quite bluntly I had two choices, swipe again or no meal. Reluctantly I swiped and Lo and behold I have been charged twice. Easily the worst club food in Canberra. We hadn’t been in a while it had been pretty bad the last time but hoped it might have changed hands. However the food was worse if anything. I have no doubt that I was given a cancelled...order as there was no way it was cooked fresh. I had ordered the pork cutlet, it was dry and not hot which it should have been if cooked fresh, the veggies had an odd flavour. My partners meal was no better, the lasagna was obviously a cheap brand frozen job, nearly inedible. This club used to have lovely food, it’s a shame as it’s our closest club. I would recommend the riders clubs with the family for a day event, I would recommend keeping the expectations low, the bar and food personnel tried their best, but let them be off a bad quality cook, as our steaks and ripening were diabolic, very dry over boiled and...Burette, the table was surprised that the low standard cook sent out that is out. the credit to the waitress who allegedly passed the message could see that they worked hard, a meal was missed for the senior of the table of the orderers, so that meal times were not enjoyed together. in reflection a bad/poor experience that is least to say. she didn't collect until we left the table. never again!
We went to celebrate a birthday and there was around 35 in our group. A call was placed the 2 days prior to reserve table. Large dining area that has a kids play area separated by a glass wall so you can keep an eye...on them. Drinks and meals are reasonably priced. Jugs of Icy cold water were available from a self serve area at the bar and of no charge. Food is good and good portion size. Schnitzels are popular with our group of diners. Kids were happy with their meals. Staff are attentive but not intrusive. They were happy to provide napkins and a knife to cut a birthday cake. Happy to eat at the Raiders club again.

if a request for fish n chips came here and say it was under average is nice crispy teig to be when in unveiled gray fish unsafe of its sort cut - unsafe when it was boiled thru I was sooo...disappointed! when the fish was stacked on the chips, the chips became soggy and despite the appealing search were terrible chefs! fish or steak on the side, not on the chips please! the halat was at least 3 days old with frozen crumbs and carrot so dry and inscribed I was afraid to get sick, it is cured well to drink will not eat there again the trip will take 3 hours to the coast to get some decent fish in the future
for a family come together and order a thick steak, although quite tender was boiled uneven. when ordering wein was said that it could only be brought by the bottle and when looking at the wine list discovered that the choice of the weine an...the cleaning by the glass was practically not present.
The place can get a bit busy specially on Friday nights. Came here to meet some friends for a chat and ordered a pad thai. The servings were huge, felt like I ate a month worth of noodles. ????
Almost cold veges when it eventually came. Wife, daughter and son-in-law didnt get their sauces. My steak was med-well even though I asked for well done. Servers need quite a bit of training

Great steaks and well priced. Great venue for the whole family with the kids play area. Just need to add Tooheys New on tap.
cannot remember much about lunch except that it was worth for money; quite good for a canberra club lunchtime
