I have been trying out a number of Chinese restaurants in Carnegie lately as there are so many to choose from whenever I'm visiting the area.Happen to come across this restaurant as part of the 'investigation'.The place is tidy and clean. Staffs are friendly overall. Professional menu. Pricing is reasonable and cheap compare to other similar restaurants in Melbourne.I had the pan-fried pork dumpling. It is well presented and cooked in the way that the dumplings are webbed together with the fried flour. The dumpling size and meat are nicely balanced that when you eat it (taste is good), you feel like you are paying budget price for a professional dish!In short, very good experience and value...
What a great place. We've been planning to go here for months. We were not disappointed at all. The menu is extremely extensive, and not hard on the wallet. We ordered several appetizers, 4 mains and 4 sides, and came out about 27 bucks per person, and the 4 of us could barely finish the food. From mild to spicy, it was all great. The fried dumplings are amazing, and you could almost make a meal on them. For all that, we still didn't even scratch the surface of the menu. But, we plan to go again, and again, and work our way through the lot.
I have had dumpling from all over the place. So I thought I would try this place while in the area. I was not dissappointed. I ordered the 15 piece pork dumplings in Chilli oil for $9.80. It took ages for my order to come out and I asked why they took so long. The answer was "We make them fresh". Well there where fresh and very tasty and they would have to be the best I have eaten in Australia. There is a free 2 hour carparking at the rear
Bought a Scoopon deal and it was great value. The restaurant was very busy at 6pm but service was quick and great choices even with the limited deal we thought the variety was fantastic. The dumplings were sooooo fresh and hard to stop eating but the plate was huge as were our other meals and soup. Chinese tea was unlimited and the people were friendly would highly recommend this restaurant.

We were introduced to ramen through a friend who took us there and ordered for us. There were three of us. We ordered pan fried dumplings plus other dumplings home made veg spring rolls salt and pepper prawns rice but the stand out was the green beans. All was delicious and fresh plus it is a byo. All came to $22 a head. We will be back this is our new dumplings place. Highly recommended.
The place was pretty packed when we turned up, but we were accommodated quickly. Many students and young people were there, who know a good feed when they see it. We had four different dishes and enjoyed them all. The rice could have been better is my only quibble. Service was prompt and by the time we left, the place was less frenetic. Seems that most people just come to eat and leave.
We love this place!!We've been here many times with and without a scoopon voucher and will always return. The dumplings are delicious and are fantastic value. The serves are a decent size, the prices low, the menu huge and the service always quick!Boiled chicken and prawn dumplings and the boiled pork dumplings are great!We will be back again and again.
The menu is large with pictures to guide the eater. All the dishes I have tried have been generous, extremely tasty and of fresh and good quality. The staff are welcoming and attentive. This is a great place for lunch or dinner - great place to share the dishes.

Have been coming to Ramen for 2 years and been many times and they always produce good food. Dumplings are great value, we also like their chicken ribs and crispy noodles. Plenty of options on the menu all at reasonable prices.
Just got back from The Raman and Dumpling House. Clayton.The food was excellent and the services is great and the place is very clean and i will be going back again... The price is excellent .
