Ravinia Brewing is my favorite brewery on the North Shore. They serve solid, consistent beers that are a perfect escape from the hot and humid summer weather. During my latest visit, I enjoyed the Diversey Station lager, which was refreshing, and the Medusa's Lagoon hazy IPA, which offered a delightful burst of tropical hops. The house tacos complemented the beers nicely—simple yet delicious. The service is always laid-back and friendly. The street-side seating creates a relaxed atmosphere, allowing me to unwind and imagine a life beyond the hustle and bustle of work and adult responsibilities. My wife appreciates the smaller pour options available.
I had the chance to give Chef Brian a ride to work, and I have to say, his enthusiasm for this restaurant has completely sold me on the place. His genuine passion for crafting dishes and preparing the restaurant for guests is evident. During our conversation, we talked about how incredible this location is. I truly hope the company appreciates and takes care of Brian. It's not often you find someone who is so invested in a 9-to-5 job, but it's clear that Brian loves what he does for the company. This is a fantastic casual spot for beer, and the food is pretty good as well. It's convenient that you can order from both the Mexican menu at Ravinia and the American menu at BWB. They do have some trouble keeping the beer list current, and the surfaces can be a bit sticky at times, but overall, it's a reliable place. We popped in on our way to Ravinia, which is just a ten-minute drive away. Kat welcomed us and was incredibly friendly and fantastic! She suggested some excellent IPAs for us to sample. The fresh guacamole and chips were delicious, and every beer we tried was excellent. I highly recommend checking out this place if you're in the area. Meal type: Other Price per person: $10–20.

As for kid-friendliness: we dined outside, and they had a kids' menu available. Even though my granddaughter didn't order from it, they were very accommodating. The atmosphere was friendly, and we enjoyed a beautiful evening that was perfect for kids.
Great local craft brewery with incredibly friendly bartenders. They offer a fantastic selection of beers. Although I didn't try the food, the brunch looked appetizing. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area—you won't regret it!

The Source of Truth is undoubtedly one of the best imperial ales I’ve ever tasted. The restaurant also serves excellent tacos.
