We were sat in the bar with a 2 year old and it was our anniversary. I'm guessing they were short staffed because the very sweet bartender was the only one serving all the tables in the bar on top of her other duties. We also went on a Wednesday night between Christmas and New Years so it wasn't a terribly busy night but it was a busy time of year. Food was fine, though. Sides could have definitely been bigger for $4.
There were six of us in our group. I called three hours ahead to get on the waitlist, but we still faced a 40-minute wait. It would be much better if they accepted reservations. I would give the restaurant 4.5 stars. The food was good, though not exceptional. The biscuits were definitely the standout dish. Our server was attentive and did an excellent job. The lobster dish was also quite enjoyable.
If I had 1 complaint, it would be ...the Asian noodle dish I had was not my favorite. The dish was a tad bit too sweet for my liking. I'm a avid sweets gut but this just seemed too sugary. The spiciness was missing, as described in the menu. Our appetizers were scrumptious. The cheddar biscuits were scrumptious too! Our waitress was quite pleasant. We will be back. I recommend Red Lobster to all.
The overall experience was okay. Our service was not the greatest. It seamed that our server was easily distracted and spent a lot of time just chatting. I did not receive the correct beverage that I had ordered. It took a long time for our food to come out and when it arrived it seemed like it had been sitting for a good while. Reserva una mesa ahora
The food at this restaurant is always outstanding, boasting excellent presentation, generous portion sizes, and incredible flavors. While the staffing situation appeared to be challenging—like many other places during this difficult economic climate—the two waitresses on duty handled the busy crowd exceptionally well.
Our server Mary was amazing. The food was the perfect temperature and came out promptly; very little wait time. Drinks were right on time including refills. Everything was delicious. We attempted to make room for dessert; though we could not finish it it was also delicious. The brownies melted in your mouth.
The staff was very friendly and quickly seated me at the bar. The lobster was good, the biscuits were slightly salty but still enjoyable, and the dessert was outstanding. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience.
Our waitress Mary was great! She was extremely attentive to our needs, and she even brought us additional napkins before we could even ask them, she was great. Reserva una mesa ahora
