I usually don’t write reviews, but I felt compelled to make an exception this time! It was my first visit to Red Robin, and I was genuinely impressed. I initially chose it because I signed up and received a birthday reward for a free burger, and I’m so glad I did. I didn’t realize it would offer more of a sit-down restaurant experience rather than a fast-food vibe. The host who seated me was incredibly friendly and helpful, taking the time to explain the menu and offer recommendations. My waitress was equally sweet and welcoming. Friend's favorite place to eat. They cook decent burgers, bottomless fries, and bottomless soft drinks. The food was hot and fresh. Our server was cheerful and on it! Two managers checked-in with our table. Iconic diner memorabilia decor. We almost went elsewhere when the hostess said it would be a 2 hour wait, instructed us to arrive an hour beforehand to check-in and put our name on a list. Since we were in the neighborhood we stopped in first to put our name on the list and to our surprise we were seated right away. There were also 3-4 other empty tables.
We visited Red Robin for a bite to eat, and I decided to start with the Reds Bold Boneless Bites as an appetizer. I was pleasantly surprised by their great taste and the generous portion of chicken. For my main course, I ordered The Southern Charm Burger and savored every single bite. I’ve discovered a new favorite burger to add to my top picks, and I will definitely be returning for more delicious food.
The food at this restaurant did not live up to the hype I had heard. It was subpar compared to what I was expecting based on other people's recommendations.
