A friend suggested I try this place for their fish and chips. On the way to Regal Chicken i noticed the seafood shop a couple of shops down was empty whereas Regal Chicken had a small crowd inside waiting for their orders. That has got to be a good thing!There was a huge selection of fast food to choose from but my goal today was to try the fish & chips. I was served quickly and in a friendly manner and after waiting the usual 10 mins my order was ready. The serve of fish & chips was of a fairly decent size but i couldn't resist ordering a couple of potato scallops too.My fish and chips and potato scallops was cooked perfectly and i saw that on their notice board that they used "healthy" oil...
This has been my family's favourite takeaway since we moved to Canberra over 15 years ago. They have always been consistently good; quick service (and when it's not they let you know and apologise!), and deliciousness. Perfect for when you can't be bothered cooking, or you decide you really don't care about arteries for one night while you eat those beautiful, beautiful chips. Also they have best battered savs I've ever had, and have burgers the size of your head.
Cleanest takeaway in Canberra. Also very fast service and friendly staff. Been here a few times and also so amazed at how clean the place is even when they are busy. Salads are always so fresh and delicious. Love our local takeaway shop.
I love this place , the food is awesome !! The salads are delicious , the takeaway is always tasting fresh not that burnt old oil taste , and the pizza is really yummy :) we come here at least a few times a month

What can I say staff friendly, quick services, food typical of fish and chip shop, quality reasonable and good serves. Pizzas getting smaller each visit bit price the same. Bonus garlic bread with each pizza
Always good quality and prompt service. Cash only. Easy out the front free parking. Other stores nearby for other shopping including a chemist, Woolworths etc.
Only ever have the chicken, chips and salads - it is the best! Have not tried the pizza but it always smells great. Potato bake is delicious as is Greek salad.
These guys certainly know how to cook a chicken on open coals. This place rocks - literally. We regularly get chips and chicken and it never disappoints!
