Restaurante Marina

We stayed the night in Girona and went down to the town centre to have dinner. We parked in the marina parking lot and walked over one street and found this gem. It had a small outside eating area for warmer nights and a beautifully elegant restaurant inside. Simple art deco white table cloths with black accent decor. Nicely appointed tables with comfortable chairs. The staff were beyond professional and courteous. The food was traditionally prepared and excellent. Dinner was served in an relaxed manner and the wine was heavenly (locally sourced of course). This restaurant seemed to be full of local family gatherings, young and old, which we always believe is the true testament to a great restaurant. A hotel is attached to this restaurant and given our experience, we would also choose to stay here on our next visit. Try this place if you are in town, you won't be disappointed.

A hotel restaurant which was nicely decorated. A lot of choices on the menu. We were really late but manage to order before the kitchen closes at 22.30. Two burgers, tuna and a cold chèvre salad. The tuna was amazing. The burgers awful. We couldn’t say what kind of meat it was but it was grey and hard and chewy! The chèvre salad was ok but not more. We had cheese cake for desert which wasn’t at all like the normal one so it was probably a local variant. Good for large companies. But also for smaller ones. Not so clean toilet.

Lovely restaurant attached to the Hotel Marina. Beautiful dining room, great and helpful staff and lovely, simple food presented well and tasting fantastic. Highly recommend the Menu of the Day at 12.95 euros and includes a glass of wine Excellent value.

Fantastic service, very kind people with good care for young children. Great tapas food for lunch. Good wine as well. Definitely recommended!
