Second time eating here. First time was for breakfast and I wasn 't that hungry. I had the Eggs Any Style which comes with potatoes or grits toast or a biscuit. I got it with potatoes and a biscuit along with bacon. I enjoyed it too much. The second time I brought my mother here for lunch. We had the creamy crawfish dip as an appetizer. It was so good and big! I had the Chicken parmigiana which was very good! I loved the sauce. My mom had the liver and onions and she said she liked it a lot. I 'll take her word for it. Oh the service was great!
The place didn’t seem to be as clean as it could be. The food took a very long time to come out. The atmosphere is fine but just a little outdated and quiet. I do not like that they have half and half cups on the tables instead of bringing you cream. The only sweeteners you have are packets of sugar and artificial sweeteners. The server was not very knowledgeable and had dirt under his fingernails. The bathroom needed to be cleaned. It was not worth the money.
The staff at this restaurant were friendly and provided good service. We were seated promptly, our drinks were served correctly and were delicious. However, we encountered an issue with the food. The calamari we ordered had freezer burn, which was disappointing, but not unexpected given the low price. I don't want to be too harsh, but even Gordon Ramsey would have been upset. Food is only enjoyable when it's fresh, so I hope the restaurant can improve quickly.
