Riva Bar Restaurant

Riva is the best restaurant in Hale. This was my second visit and I was just as impressed as the first time, if not more! Last night (Thursday evening) we enjoyed amazing food and live music from a talented singer. Our group started with a snack board and then ordered beef Wellington, steak pie, fish and chips, and fillet steak - all of which were rated 10/10 by everyone. The service from the owner, a lovely gentleman, was outstanding. If you're looking for high-quality, unique food in Hale, Riva is the place to go!

I have dined at this restaurant approximately 6 times on different occasions and days, and have always been extremely pleased. The food and service are both excellent, and the prices are slightly higher than those of a typical pub. A 10% optional service charge is added to the bill, but I doubt anyone would want it removed. When the quality is this exceptional, I am more than willing to pay.

Great to see this place back open. Visited today for dinner and drinks. First time dining, usually just visit for drinks but thought we would get dinner to support this amazing local place. We was not disappointed at all. We had all three courses, which were amazing with great service. We will definitely be back! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Nice that Riva is dog friendly. I have eaten there before but the Sunday lunch wasn't as good as last time. It was very busy, very noisy and service was slow, the standard of food wasn't at its best.
