The food at Riviera Maya was good, but the service was really disappointing. We stopped by while traveling from New York after finding this spot on Google. The restaurant was almost empty on a pleasant afternoon, and we chose to sit outside as a group of four. Throughout our meal, about three or four different waitresses assisted us—one brought water, another handled the drinks, someone else took our order, and another delivered the food. VIva Riviera Maya!. Tried this restaurant for the first time last night and was very impressed--hip atmosphere, great Margaritas, friendly wait staff...and truly amazing Mexican food.<br/ <br/ I was once of the opinion that it's not worth spending more than lunch money on Mexican, but Riviera Maya has changed my mind. Love the atmosphere here. Food and drinks are good. Live music some nights. Waitress should be a bit more attentive to customers when they first arrive. On several occasions I had to find my own table to sit then hunt the waitress down to take my order. Other then that's is a very nice place to have dinner. Great place for couples or big groups.

I made my first visit to this restaurant and was genuinely impressed. The food was outstanding, and the customer service was top-notch. I felt completely at ease during my time there. The highlight for me was the 100% Latin music, perfect for dancing all night long! I had such a great experience that it has quickly become my favorite place.
The service and drinks were excellent! The spicy margarita was tasty, though it lacked a strong kick. We really enjoyed the nachos, but the portion was rather small and definitely wouldn’t be enough to satisfy two people sharing.
I recently spend the weekend with my gf at Stamford ct and we came across with Riviera Maya, we loved it so much that we went twice, food is great, service awesome, restaurant is so beautiful in and out, highly recommended.
I really enjoyed the half dozen of jumbo grilled shrimp over bed of veggies. The mashed potatoes were great, homemade just how I like them! The margarita had a really nice kick of tequila; well worth my visit!

Visited Stamford for the first time with my boyfriend, and found this place by chance since it did not show on the GPS. Gotta say I LOVE IT! Will definitely go again! I'm sure you will love it too.
