The filet was cooked properly, but it was rather bland and chewy in the center. The bearnaise sauce had an unpleasant sour taste, and the rolls were stale. Additionally, the baked potato was quite small for the price we paid.
As for the ribeye, I know they can be fatty, but ours was excessively so. There was fat running through the entire steak, and once the fat was trimmed off, we were left with perhaps 8 ounces of meat. The ribeye was cooked as requested, but it didn't live up to expectations.
We just dined there tonight. Wanted a nice dinner after a long day of traveling. My son ordered his ribeye medium rare. It came out medium well. I ordered my filet medium and it also came out medium well. I sent mine back and my son ate his because he was famished. Needless to say, my family had already finished eating before my steak was served at the proper temperature. For being a restaurant specializing in steak, it was horrible. What an amazing dinner and an amazing breakfast the following day. Had such a great steak perfectly cooked, great preparation and delivery with all servers at dinner. Carol in the morning for breakfast absolutely amazing service was so hospitable. Chef Earl had such an amazing preparation of breakfast, one of the greatest breakfast I?ve ever had prepared for me. Get the special for the omelette and the home fries. You won?t regret it.

Amazing chilaquiles!! Highly recommend! (see photo) Had breakfast here multiple times and was happy every time. Staff are all very nice, attentive. Quick service. Smoothies, coffee, cappuccino, all to taste. The menu had a nice mix of savory and sweet options. Apple cinnamon french toast was also quite nice!
The staff are witty and extremely knowledgeable. The steak selection is impressive and, even better, mostly local. It was cooked almost perfectly and was very delicious. The dry-aged beef is tender and juicy. I highly recommend it if you visit Nemacolin. The only place that surpasses it is Aqueous.
The service was friendly, but my breakfast order was messed up and didn’t taste good (I ordered the avocado toast). I also returned for dinner, but the steak was overcooked, the mushrooms were flavorless, and overall, it just wasn't worth the price. I would recommend skipping this place.
Bad and overpriced. All the steaks were ridiculously over cooked and bland. Just bad. If you want a luxury experience, go to Greenbrier instead. Much better food there.
