Rockys Donair And Pizzeria

I will start this by saying I grew up in the Halifax area so I know real donairs. I tend to try donair shops I find away from Halifax but I am usually disappointed. Rocky 's Donair is ok for what it is a donair shop in British Columbia but definitely not east coast approved as the guy behind the counter said. If you are looking for the Halifax donair experience this is definitely not it! The sauce is completely wrong, I thought it was a little off but the more I ate the more I realized it was just bad. We used to really enjoy Rocky's, but our last visit was a total disappointment. We didn't realize the restaurant had changed owners. We ordered four loaded donairs for $80, expecting something great, but what we got was mostly cabbage, onions, and just a tiny bit of tzatziki. There was no sweet sauce and no tomatoes?! I even felt foolish for asking them to skip the banana peppers since they weren't even an option. It seems like the restaurant has really become lazy. I left a generous tip, thinking I was going to get the same quality we used to enjoy, even though it was takeout. I honestly feel cheated. I wouldn’t recommend giving this place your business!

Only the best donair place in the entire area! Seriously! Tried this place recently and was completely flabbergasted by the large portion of deliciously flavoured goodness. The meat is cut right in front of you in nice thick strips, There are choices of dressings and toppings and meats. The price appears high but the quality is well worth it. The ambiance is so good in fact that even a nube will feel like a regular. The owners are very knowledgeable in their art. We will definitely return!

This restaurant offers excellent service, with friendly and helpful staff who checked in with us multiple times to ensure we were happy. The donairs are both delicious and generously sized. The spinach pies featured a delicious pastry crust and had wonderful flavor. We will definitely return the next time we're in Cranbrook. Reserva una mesa ahora

Used to be really good, now it's pretty ****. I ordered from there for pick up, when I got there the place reeked of weed, it was a absolute mess, and they forgot to make my food. Only reason for 2 stars and not 1 is we've had pretty good pizza there in the past. Now it's too dirty to feel comfortable ordering from there.

The owner Sal is extremely rude and is mean to his employees. They don't know how to make half the stuff on the menu so why is it on there?. Staff were smoking in the kitchen. And the fish tanks leak all over the place and looks like they haven't been cleaned in months!

I should have left as soon as I saw the condition of the bathroom. It was simply disgusting! We ordered a beef donair, fries, and a Caesar salad, and everything was unappetizing. We spent $40 and only drank our canned iced tea. I'm very disappointed.

Great tasting donairs, large portions and very friendly and generous owners. My partner and I usually get a large chicken donair and split it between us as it's so large with lots of great tasting chicken in it. Reserva una mesa ahora

Food was great. I've had Donner sandwiches a lot and this one left me shook. 1 is all you need also. I couldn't finish mine it was such a generous portion
