We have been feeding for years and have never come anywhere, which was unable to confirm an online booking and had us wait for a good day. Even Michelin-starred restaurants give you an immediate answer. When we thought we had the...booking, they sent an email with the hint "That's just a request". In the following afternoon we had given up and instead booked in the nearby Axe Cleaver, who gave us an immediate answer.
This charming pub is a lovely, cozy spot. The food is absolutely delightful, very tasty and served hot. The service is excellent and the staff are very helpful. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place. The average price per person is £20–30. Food and service both receive a rating of 5 out of 5.
Excellent service, food was lovely! We were celebrating an occasion, staff made us feel special.
