Located in the small food court at Birkenhead Point, Gozleme Turkish House serves delicious traditional Turkish flatbread. Decorated with Turkish interior, you can watch the chefs prepare the flatbread right in front of you. The fresh dough is hand-rolled into a flat pastry, then brushed with butter and egg before being filled with a variety of options including Nutella, chicken, beef, or cheese. The women working there have a comforting maternal presence, reminiscent of our own mothers and grandmothers who would spoil us with delicious treats in the kitchen. The gozleme is undeniably tasty and satisfying.

My partner and I decided to try gozleme for the first time at Birkenhead Point Shopping Centre. We arrived just before closing time (5:30pm) and were fortunate to snag the last two gozlemes available. The portions were large and satisfying, so we ended up bringing half of each back to our apartment. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful as well.

We had never tried gozleme and thought it would be good to try it at the Birkenhead Point Shopping Centre.They were closing up (5.30pm) and we were lucky to get the last couple of gozelmes. Very filling, we ended up taking half of each portion back to our apartment.Very friendly and helpful staff too.
