Prices at the entrance can be welcoming, but these prices come to the cost of a very low level of culinary experience... This is probably one of the German restaurants that was launched 30 years ago and in the same quality ever...since. Pro: I ordered a grill plate and if it was a large part. Cons: Eastern European school cantine quality, toilets are available after key-request basic My impression is that the same money will probably buy you a better quality anywhere on the island. This is more a pub for older locals, not recommended at all if you are a visitor in Lindau.

Because I travelled with German friends from Hamburg, I didn't get pizza. Tonight in this beautiful little traditional place, the food was great. I had a strange soup spittzel soup?? maybe not even close, followed by an ugly paprika scavenger with frits. Others had great sausages and... very nice potato and cheese deep fried croquets. My bill was £22 including a big apple shurle. Great service and no loud music, thank God.

Schnitzel and Pommes were good. Decent portions as well. Price was about average, not sure if it's always the case but they took cash only. We walked past and asked if there was seating available and we only had to wait 5-8 minutes for a table.

My wife and I stumbled over this place while I wandered around the back streets of Lindau. A small but very nice restaurant was the staff friendly and helpful. The food was very good with good local beer, worth a visit.
