Rotisserie St-Hubert

I’ve never experienced as bad service as I did here recently. First, they are next to a hockey rink so you’d think they be accustomed to serving groups. But they were completely inept and incapable of performing such a simple task. We walked in right at 11am as they opened, and we asked if they could serve us lunch and get us out of there by 12:30. We were 12 parents and 10 kids. They said no problem. Kids sat at one big table and adults at another. Now, if you were a head waiter that needed to deal with kids and adult, two tables, food and drinks, and do it on a deadline where would you start? Slow service and mediocre food, but I don’t think this is “news”. I’ll make a few comments about training at this restaurant and others. The server brought 2 dinners. One had fries instead of baked, so she took it right back returning a few moments later, scooped up the second plate and said she had given us someone’s order. YIKES! Fortunately we had not touched the plates but That should NEVER happen! Training, training. Mistakes happen but never change food or drink from one table to another. This really bothers me: We don’t see busboys as much anymore. The servers pick up the dirty dishes and scrape them, without wearing gloves and then turn right around and pick up plates in the kitchen...

Beware this restaurant , they have one of the worst service I’ve seen in any restaurant on the south shore or anywhere ! I just left because my wife and I waited for ever to get a waitress in the bar area which wasn’t even full , they stuck us in a corner and no one came , everyone else was eating so I got up and asked politely if someone can serve us . I saw the lady tell one of the waitress and she looked over at us . We waited another 5 minutes and I got up and left ! This is the second time this has happened in this restaurant . Waited for 1 hour for 3 plates of brochette and spoke with the manager Yoan he told me that I supposed to know if not on the lunch menu it should be longer than usual. WTH!!!! It's lunch time buddy !!!!! The waitress Virginie she was nice that's why I still tip her $7. But for a manager didn't even offer us a drink or any discount because we were waiting for an hour that because I went asked the waitress we could be waiting longer. Another thing the brochette was not good so salty I would say M and M frozen brochette is 10000000 times tastier. Garbage food!!!!!

DO NOT PLAN A GROUP EVENT HERE. I organized a group of 35 ppl arriving at 6:30. Two hours later still no food. We complained to the manager Yohan that we had another event planned at 9pm and that response was what do you want me to do about that, that 's not my problem . By the time we had our bills and were able to leave, it was 10pm. Horrible service. The manager was eating his dinner before I had mine.

We waited for 1 hour for our meal and 2 of the dishes were almost cold, however our server was fantastic and took great care of us considering the slow service in the kitchen. The restaurant was not very busy, so I am sorry but not sure if I would go back.

Our reservation was not found and our group had to sit in a corner. The air conditioning was not working properly, the table was sticky, and the service was very slow. The hostess was on her phone and we had to track her down in the kitchen to pay.

Good service and food! I would suggest this restaurant at any time. Portions could be a little bigger. Desserts are all amazing but a little price.
