Ruth's Chris Steak House Northbrook

Usually everything is pretty good at Ruth Chris, this time they didn’t live up to their name. First our bread came out and it was hard, we waited longer than usual for our food and when it arrived it wasn’t hot. We sent our food back to be reheated (which we hate doing). They put bacon on the loaded mash which we asked for without bacon, the orders of spinach came out as we were almost done eating and the lamb chops and steak were DRY and to top it off there were fruit flys that kept bothering us while we were eating (my fiancé actually killed one with his hands; you’ll can check the camera footage). The food and service were excellent. We're glad we had an early reservation. There's one suggestion for the hotel: The bathroom needs to be cleaner. There was no soap in the Women's room and paper towels were on the floor. That's no reflection on the restaurant because everything was excellent there

The steak was excellent. We all had something different an not complaints. The only disappointment was the Lobster Bisque as it was not very flavorful. Definitely enjoyed the Sweet Potato Casserole one of my favorites

Our server Alex was attentive and courteous throughout the night. Even though we received an inaccurate cut of steak, he quickly corrected the issue. The drinks were good and the wine suggestion was delicious
