Ruth's Chris Steak House Northbrook

Steaks are always delicious and cooked just like you want them. The mushroom stuffed with crab meat should be one of their specialties and the sweet potato casserole was delicious. So why not all five stars? The BREAD was the first thing they brought to the table and it was rock hard. They would be better off not offering it. I’d rather see sore bought rolls warmed or on the high end Eddie Merlots warm bread out of the oven. To end the evening they brought a small bread Pudding since we were celebrating year anniversary. Nice touch but they gave us the bill afterwards and my wife really wanted a chocolate dessert. I took her out for ice cream after dinner

this was our very first visit here to celebrate our jubilee we sat in the bar area and it was very loud and the people repeatedly pushed my friend chair. we tried to move and they said no eating was excellent except the au gratin that was metered in oil. the manager composed our drinks to make himself for it, and we appreciate it the table had blown up love confetti that was cute. we have a lucky card that was nice that was dessert was a mini-bread pudding that was good, but we would have got a choice because my friend hates rosins and he took them all out.

as usual service and eat excellent. in the past few days we have densed in the last weeks, the music in the dining room was unusually loud. it was very distracting for our first visit for our jubilee and this past visit to celebrate birthdays, it was also much louder than it had to be. it certainly has cleaned our visits in our favorite fine restaurant.

One strip steak sent back due to grizzle running through it. Replacement had same problem. Probably worst steaks we’ve ever had there over many years in Northbrook location and others
