"Liked the sound of the new menu but unfortunately it simply didn't deliver. Three of us ordered the crispy skin duck. Portion sizes varied significantly, shame the cooking time wasn't adjusted, the largest portion was well under. Worst of all, no crispy skin! Lentils were boring and the jus missing. The 12 hour lamb was fatty and tough. Not sure what was with the 6 cold peas and 3 cherry tomatoes, that hadn't been roasted! The char-grilled octopus was well under, tough and had no charring. Meals lack creative presentation, are expensive and we went home hungry :("

I used to eat here quite often as the food was always good, nothing spectacular but you knew you could get a good feed; however it was starting to get quite tired, it was always the same, which is not a bad thing if you like that but sometimes a freshen up is good, a couple of friends were down from the mainland and were staying in Salamanca and had herd there were a few changes happening here so off we went.Going into the restaurant it seemed a little the same, but hang on a sec, the buffet bain marie buffet hutch thing had gone, we were greeted by smiling faces and shown to out table, all seemed similar, then the menus arrived, well that has certainly gone up a notch that's for sure, gone...

Friends booked for a birthday dinner as they had heard that it was a little "nicer" than your average restaurant. On arrival we where met by bright lights, cafe tables and no ambience. Whilst the waitress who served us was pleasant enough our meals were served or passed across the table. The meals were served on brown stone plates - most of us had the tiger prawns for entrée - 3 for $17. The oysters were edible and the charred octopus was passable.Then out came the steaks. Again on the brown stone plates with three potatoes each. Looking totally uninspiring. Comido aquí en un último viaje a Tasmania y Tenía la torre de 3 Uller Seafood para compartir La decepción más importante no era un error de Moreton Bay, como se describe, se dijo que podríamos tener un poco más de todo lo demás ... En su lugar, pedimos ostras en su lugar y tuvimos la carne de res como la segunda etapa (la normal es la elección de la carne de res o las ostras para el segundo animal) ¡Los comentarios no cobran un dólar superior y promueven productos que no puede ofrecer! La decoración es un poco desolada, probablemente sirve principalmente a los huéspedes del hotel y no grita el negocio de los negocios. Se unió a una fiesta de alrededor de 12 años anoche para celebrar un cumpleaños. Las expectativas no fueron altas, según las evaluaciones anteriores y, lamentablemente, se justificaron las preocupaciones. Aquellos que tenían bistec o cordero parecían ser los ganadores. Un gran escocés ordenado de rara medio, con firmeza. Desafortunadamente, aquellos que ordenaron a todos los mariscos estaban en gran parte decepcionados. Todo estaba claramente congelado y luego recocido, sin desastres absolutos, sino todo bajo el estándar. Con el éxito de la escena de comida Hobart en este momento, hay muchos mejores lugares para probarlo.
