I highly recommend not giving this restaurant your business! The girl who answered the phone was incredibly rude and hung up on my family and me after they messed up our order. She constantly insisted that we didn't order certain items, even though multiple people heard our order being placed. When we called to politely inform them about two missing items, they initially overlooked the incorrect sandwich as well. We even offered to return the wrong sandwich in exchange for what we originally ordered. Instead, they called back to say that they could only provide the sauce, claiming it would be the same. I 'm surprised at some of the negative reviews regarding the staff at Sal 's, so I thought it 's only fair to share my personal experience. First off, Sal 's is not our local restaurant. I 've only recently discovered it as my daughters volunteer at the animal shelter nearby. Although we 've only ordered from here maybe half a dozen times, I can 't say we 've ever had anything but good experiences. The food has always been good and the prices fair; but the one thing that we 've literally commented on on multiple occasions has been the friendliness of the staff. There 's been multiple times that we 'll bring our order back stating wow, for a young counter staff, those guys are really polite!...
I work in this area and I've never had a good experience when ordering from Sal's. my last time ordering from here, it took them over 2 hours to deliver my food. I called them twice in between that time to ask what the hold up was. the woman on the phone just kept telling me that the driver was on his way, she wasn't apologetic about it AT ALL. I told her that if he isn't here in 10 minutes then I want a refund. later, I walk to the front door to see if the delivery person is here, and all I see is my food sitting in the walkway of my job!! the delivery person didn't wait for anyone to come to the door (I guess they already knew they wouldn't be getting a tip) the bag that my food was in was...
The best place ever! I've been getting my cheesesteaks from Sal's for years, and I still haven't found anywhere better, even after spending five years in school in Philadelphia! Nothing can compare. I even brought my friends from out of state to try them instead of going to D'Alessandro's just five minutes away. The staff is incredibly friendly and remember me even if I haven't been there in a while! They also offer fantastic lunch specials. I would give it 10 stars if I could! Reserva una mesa ahora
Stay here. Our order came. We have the wrong order, then when we call to let them know, and to inform them that we have food allergies and cannot eat that, and their answer is that we are too far? but they could deliver my order in 25 minutes. Instead of doing things right, they offer a credit for the next time. There will be no next time.
Absolutely unacceptable for an order of fries! Pizza is okay, I?ve had better! And when i called the restaurant to speak to a manager, the gentleman that picked up the phone said ? i don?t have time to argue? The menu states online orders 10% off, on the website it says 10% off cash orders, there was no such thing.
Amazing pizza. Had a variety of slices that they had available tonight. The Boardwalk was my favorite. Like a tomato pie with a beach pizza style. There was a bacon honey mustard that was a little different, but good! The plain pie is good cold, which is my real determiner for a high quality pizza. Will try again!
