This restaurant has to have some of the best fried chicken ever crispy, yet very tender moist! The mac cheese cornbread were also big hits worth the drive to Pleasantville if you're not local to the area. The ambience is a nice laid back atmosphere wait staff was super friendly accommodating to my date I. The restaurant is also a short drive from Atlantic City very easy to find using GPS. With our dinner entree of fried chicken we also had cabbage which was delicious (but could have been hotter) broccoli (which my date said could have used a bit more seasoning). Other than that, we had a fabulous experience here. We enjoyed our food here for dinner so much, we returned the next day for break...
"Okay, maybe giving this place a star is a bit harsh, but we stopped here during a long drive for lunch and it was quite an experience. It felt dark and unwelcoming, and there was no one around to assist us or show us to a table. We had made a reservation based on the great reviews, but our dining experience did not match our expectations at all. We ended up feeling rushed."
Have been here four times and each time we have a great time with friends. The wait staff are great and add to the atmosphere. The owner likes talking about his place and welcomes everyone who comes in to dine or wants to sit at the bar. Will not stop going to a pleasant place to eat.
What a find a new favorite.! The food was delicious served hot and the portions were plentiful. The restaurant was laid back family style with booths and tables , very clean with a bar on the other side. Our waiter was excellent

Unbelievable chicken wings. The best I ever had. We sat in the bar this time and Dre was the bartender. He is the reason we ended up having dinner at the bar. Great guy. Great service. He is the best.
Sam’s has the best chicken and Seafood around. The choices and sides are great. Everything is fresh and authentic. We went there to celebrate my husband’s birthday and had a great, great time.
Love this place. It's so much fun. The wait staff is always a pleasure. The food is plentiful and delicious! Love the corn bread! YUM!!!
A must-visit when you're in Atlantic City! We will definitely be coming back. The manager and staff were very friendly.
