San Giuseppe Coal Fired Pizza & Cucina

Our friends and we had an enjoyable evening at San Giuseppe. While the food is OK, it is not memorable. The dishes could be prepared in a more interesting fashion. However, the service was excellent and it is a pleasure to be in a comfortable environment that is quiet. Also, the fact that there is parking makes it possible for my wife and I, who live in Hoboken, to invite friends, who drive from elsewhere, to meet us without having to walk a long distance from a parking lot.

It wasn't our first time here and we were happy that we came back. This place is very good, this service is excellent and the food is equally good. Giuseppe and Mario do a good job to make sure you have a great culinary experience. Make a reservation or just stop in the week, you will not be disappointed. BTW is a BYOB. NJOY

I love the relaxed feeling of this place – like a cozy dining room in a friendly house. I would definitely try more dishes again. The food was good. Everyone enjoyed the fried Calamari and baked mussels. Service was well equipped and friendly and you can bring your favorite wine.

Went with my wife for a date night and got great service. The server recommended very nice appetizers and he was working very hard to serve all the customers because the place was quiet full. The pasta were ok thought. Overall very positive experience.

We wonder why they tried to seat us next to a table in the back next to a noisy little kid rather than in the front where there were 2 available tables for 2 by the windows. However, they switched us after we requested it.

Food is consistently of the highest quality. Real, authentic Italian food. The new meatball sliders are a great addition to the menu.
