Sato Japanese Cuisine

Guys, you should go to this Japanese restaurant, this is an authentic, the best Japanese restaurant I went to the Bay Area and the price was very reasonable. There are probably more than 10 or 20 Japanese restaurant in Pleasanton, which is the best although I have been only 3 of them; the other two 4 star restaurants were not even nearby. The food (sashimi) and even noodle soup are well prepared and tastes excellent. I am a very picky person and don't give 5 starts easily. When I saw an Asian lady sitting next to us, ordered 3 dishes for herself, I knew that the food was good. In any case, will go back there, even by Sunnyvale or at any time by Pleasanton!

This is a fantastic authentic Japanese restaurant owned by a family. The service is excellent, the food is of high quality, and the atmosphere is both comfortable and cozy. You can tell that everything is prepared with care. I highly recommend it—anyone who visits won't be disappointed. I typically don’t write reviews and would prefer to keep this gem to myself, but they truly deserve a 5-star rating. I wish them continued success in their business!

Service was very slow, and we could see the reason. They had huge to-go order to fulfill. So we had wait a very very long time. But as group we passed the time catching up. I ordered the Sashimi Lunch box, which was ok. We also ordered the Rainbow roll and the Fireball roll. They were again ok

I really enjoyed Sato. We came here on a Tuesday lunch and there was only 2 other tables occupied. The clam ramen was very good and the nigiri was good as well. We?ve come here on another occasion and the tempura is great. The sushi pieces are on the smaller side but we still enjoyed them. Reserva una mesa ahora

This is a legit authentic Japanese restaurant with a traditional menu. There isn't all that fusion madness; just good Japanese food and clean sushi. Hamachi was delicious as was the salmon shioyaki. I love this spot and glad it is not too far from the house.

Small cozy spot that we stumbled across on a few months accross. We always order the California, Philadelphia, Snow Crab, and Dragon Roll as well as the teriyaki, katsu tempura. Service is fast everything is fresh EVERY SINGLE TIME!

My go to for chirashi. Fish is top quality and really like how they flavored the rice. My parents like their lunch set boxes because they fry with clean new oil.

Excellent sashimi and sushi. We're here when so few people opened there. You do many orders to go.
