Scanccelli Cafe - Reservar una mesa

I find myself visiting this restaurant quite often, mainly because it is the only place near the kids' play area where I can grab a coffee. However, I have noticed that the process of ordering and receiving a takeout coffee has been getting slower with each visit. In fact, the time it took to order the coffee I am currently drinking was so long that I almost felt like I had traveled back in time. If you have some extra time to spare, I would still recommend visiting this place.

Was just refused service because my order “wasn’t big enough” even though I had already ordered 2 other coffees on a seperate order. My 4 year old daughter wanted a babycino and they refused (I was happy to pay cash or card) one very upset little girl and a very frustrated mum.

Was served a gritty salmon sandwich with dubious looking salmon. When I reported it to the waitress her response was ‘what do you want me to do about it?’ Very poor. Unfortunately, there is not much competition so they get away with this kind of service.

I never write these reviews but my experience at this cafe was very hostile. Extremely rude staff. Won’t be returning! Was spoken down to for just asking for some utensils. They need to do some training in general manners.

The coffee this morning was fantastic. Great service and genuinely lovely people! They were busy but made sure the takeaway coffee was hot and delicious.
