I went with 4 other people for dinner and a midnight oil cover band. Everything was great until the end of the night when the bouncer tried to kick us out twice within 2 minutes after the band went off stage. The bars were all closed bu that time so we couldn’t buy another drink. That is perfectly understandable and I know what licensing laws mean. All we wanted was to finish our existing drinks but the over officious bouncer was borderline aggressive and it really soured the evening. This place gives pub food a great name. The place has the usual areas of a standard pub will pool rooms, TAB area and outside eating and drinking areas. The menu is large with pizza as well as is the range of drinks. You can join the club system and receive discounts on already fairly cheap food and drinks. Service delivery to your table Large parking areas are also available around the pub. We had a great lunch, with cold beers and lots of time to chat in a peaceful environment with an open fire

Great food and service. Special shout out to Dan who went above and beyond in his customer service. The food is great and was enjoyed by all with beautifully cooked steaks and loaded pizza’s! Thanks guys, we’ll be back!

Our family has been coming here for many years now and we always look forward to our get togethers at the tavern, each time on leaving saying what a lovely time it was.

Lovely food with a delightful waitress Sarah) warm and nice ambiance. Lost a star because the steak was served on a cold plate, otherwise really lovely evening.
