Scarlet Oak Tavern

I visited Scarlett Oak Tavern for the first time after hearing great things about it, and finally had the chance to try it for myself. I started with the cornbread, which was light but lacked flavor and was slightly dry. The butter helped improve it. The Jumbo Crab Cake, on the other hand, was excellent - perfectly crusted and delicious. However, I was a bit disappointed with the pot pie as it only had a top layer and the chicken was overcooked and bland. The dessert, a warm Bread Pudding with dates and almonds topped with caramelized crust and vanilla ice cream, was tasty. Overall, Scarlett Oak Tavern is a good restaurant, but I would skip the pot pie next time.

We went here for Valentines Day. Typically love the Scarlett Oak but I felt a little like I was at the 99 this time. LOts of people waiting in the tavern made entrance/exit crowded. Seating was crowded. I appreciate the brown paper table covers for saving water but perhaps something a little more elegant would elevate the experience rather than being utilitarian. I compare Scarlett Oak to Toscas for special occasions but I think Toscas is a better pick for a romantic dinner and Scarlett Oak for everyday dining out. Our server was wonderful. very attentive.

Arrived for 7:30 reservations and was told they were running behind and would be 10-15 minutes wait, turned into a 45 minute wait which everyone with reservations said they were waiting, hostess did not handle this situation very well as they kept telling everyone the same wait time which was not true at all. Waitress was very good and food was very good but the beginning of the evening really soured the night

I chose to go here for my 50th birthday and it was such a great choice! Beautiful atmosphere, great food and great company. The waitress was so nice and professional and attentive. I will definitely be coming back. I loved the fireplace when I first walked in to the right and I thought that would be a great place to meet a friend for a cocktail. Reserva una mesa ahora

This restaurant is a fantastic choice for a dinner with friends. The parking fills up fast on Friday nights, so I suggest making reservations and arriving early. The service is excellent, and the meal is for dinner. The price per person typically ranges from $50 to $100.

The room was uncomfortably warm with an 85-degree temperature. The air conditioning was unable to adequately cool the space. Service was for dining in during dinner, with prices ranging from $30 to $50 per person.
