After I read the cripples, my husband and I were very happy to eat here. my man had the Argentine steak from which he said it was delicious and I had carving that was in order, though quite fat. the service was terrible. my man ordered a beer when we arrived, which lasted forever. they actually came back to pick up our food order, and he had to remind them of the beer. an excellent restaurant with traditional dressing in cozy rustic environment. we had drunk a bit earlier on the day and the hired were friendly and eating looked good, so we decided to return to dinner. it was very full and most of the tables were occupied, but the waitress could put us on a large wooden table with the carved wooden head, which is the heart of the restaurant that we shared with other guests. it did well to exchange with other traveling people and enjoy their society. we ordered from the speciality area of the menu and were not disappointed. we had each one a pork dish, one with potatoes and soaked and the other with noodles and creamy mushroom sauce. both were served in cast...

when we came by to dinner, the lower level was full, so that we landed on top of the scurry hexenboden. the facility is rustic, lots of wood and very sweet. the menu is quite versatile and surprising, really something for everyone. I had a dish with vegetables (brokkoli, carrots, borons, cauliflowers, cartoffels) with sauce hollandaise and a egg. an unusual eating, but after a week heavy Germanic eating it was exactly what I needed, perfectly prepared and delicious. the prices are very reasonable and the service was efficient and cheerful. for a tasty, unobstructed dinner in a scurry, fun atmosphere this is the right place for them!

my daughter and I were in gengenbach and had a nice meal in the restaurant. very fast service and they offered us an alternative menu in English. we choose different regional dishes, daughter a sweet dish with soned, bratkartoffeln with ham and mirror and I had a kartoffel toast with wobble (the ham they kindly left for me), large saturating portions and was very favorable. we were eating inside rather than outside as we wanted to see the unusual facility. we sat next to a wooden swing horse. went back in the following night (dienstag), but it was closed.

we enjoyed the food and the friendly atmosphere at the first evening, at which we had eaten here, so that during our 4-day stay in gengenbach we returned a second time. every dinner was well prepared and the portions great. the staff was very busy but offered an excellent service. they were able to answer our questions in English and even helped us smile with a smile when we asked for help in the language of menu items in our broken German.

we went to the place where this pub is located, and the clouds came by, so we decided to dive. we had a great beer and a beautiful local wine with fantastic eating that came to the point after a day! English menu that made life easier! great value for money, friendly staff, good eating?

it is a kind of choice if you don't want to spend much money and don't care about the quality of eating, this is the right restaurant. for me was too much and too much bite and heavy bites. the flame cake is in order, but it is a choice.

spent an evening bing with delicious local rösti and dark. the personal was friendly and welcoming. the prices were reasonable. it can highly recommend to fill local specialties.
